Woke up this morning with the intention of cleaning the sitting room and putting up the statue of baby Jesus. So after Holy Mass had breakfast and was all set to start work when I realised that the water heater had sprung a leak. At first I thought it was just a little bit of water that must have accumulated in the cover section as the appliance sits outside in the yard. Phoned for a replacement which would have cost me around €140. But thanks to my trustworthy ironmonger who asked me to check if the problem was with the flange (which I did not know could be changed and which happened to be the problem) I saved more than a €100.
So 365ers here is my three minute attempt at transforming my morning chore into something artistic. You cannot say I did not try!:)
Well done. You impress me at how easy it was to fix it. I have never understood how mechanical items work. So first thing I do is call a professional. And then I finish up ashamed at not having it done by myself.
@sangwann love to do maintenance work around the house although I am always a bit wary when it comes to water related work. Don't know if it will come out of the intended hole or if it will come out at all :) @marlboromaam all's well. I noticed a marked efficiency on heating time. @wakelys@pdulis@robz@ankers70 Thanks for your comments.
