Silent sentinel by elza

Silent sentinel

Spent the whole morning preparing and testing the Zoom app for the afternoon online lessons. In spite of the preparations I was not happy with the quality of the learners' engagement with the lesson. Online definitly requires different skills from the classroom face to face work so I will have to rethink my strategies for the coming online lessons.
The 400 year old "silent sentinel" is the Lippija Tower, also known as Ġnejna Tower. It is a small watchtower overlooking Ġnejna Bay, from yesterday's photos, built by the Grand Master Lascaris in 1637. Do not be deceived by the blue sky as a few minutes before, the weather was horrendous.
Good luck with your online teaching - it is so tricky to get the level just right for them to engage and achieve!

A nice balance of sky, hill and sea. Such a vibrant blue sky!

I really like the rugged coastline. Lesions via zoom must be so difficult to plan as you can’t judge the audience. Good luck.

Marvellous layers in this shot, and great use of rule of thirds!

@ljmanning @wakelys @theredcamera @pdulis @borof @dide Thanks for your comments. This small bay is really beautiful both in the swimming months and for hiking during the other months.
