That would make a traditional octupus stew nicely. I took the bus to St Julian's bay this morning and on my way back to the bus stop I spotted this man coming out of the water with his catch. It will either find its way to some local fish shop for a handsome price or onto his table, stewed or fried.
Such a lot to see and think about in this photo. Interesting to know someone will dive for octopus. But the diving is what really caught me attention. First the word Apnéa, which in English means absence of breathing. Further research told me it was a word related to free-diving and I did notice the man did not have a tank like I expected him to. Ah, it's nice to learn new things.
