9th January 2014

Today I undertook a different photo shoot to those I normally undertake. Our friend wanted a present for his wife's 65th birthday which is on the 11th of January. He lives in a flat overlooking the river Thames and Teddington Lock and wanted to include their home in the photo as well if possible.

This is a photograph of him in which I was checking the settings and flash performance… this was prior to the actual photo shoot. It was quite overcast at 10.15am on the Thames footpath.

I decided not to post the actual photo that he chose… the one where he is totally starkers with only a 65th birthday balloon to keep warm with!
Reminds me of something a person said yesterday: "Once I painted a girl in the nude. I almost froze to death" His flat is in the buildings behind?

haha... fantastic! I bet she was thrilled, and I bet he didn't hang around too long after the photo had been taken. What a great place to live too.
