3rd February 2014

Is it really ten years since Dad passed away? Someways it seems like longer and other times it seems only a short time ago. I wish he knew about this project, he would have been really interested.

I created a triptych last year of Dad's favourite food (see below) and this year I decided to study Maltesers by Macro! Of course this involved a lot of testing to establish if they still taste the same as they always have… they do. We raised a glass of wine as well - Cheers Dad.

@alisonp Great memory! He was a bit grumpy at times but always supported me in everything I did. Have to say I do feel a bit queasy now, I ate quite a few!

A lovely tribute to your Dad, Emma. Mine died exactly a month ago today. I like to remember that he was very pleased I was doing this project. He encouraged me in creative activities from childhood on--I have a lot to thank him for, as i'm sure you do your Dad. Love the interior of the Malteser (my Dad liked them too, growing up). What a shame you had to do all that onerous testing!:)

My Dad died 22 years ago but I still miss him as he was a wonderful father and he loved all things sweet - that's why he loved me! LOL Nice tribute to your father and I'm sure they still taste as good. I'll have to give it a try as I haven't tasted a malteser in years

My Dad died twenty years ago and loved taking pictures - mostly holidays and the garden. I know he would have loved me doing the project too.
