Oooh, tomorrows the day I go on my Speedlite course up in town. I've had a Canon Speedlite 580EX for over a year and I use it regularly for photo-shoots. However, it is a bit hit and miss for me how successful the results are.
My batteries are charged, I have a spare set on standby and I'm meeting @taz_o at the station. @steampowered - I'll let you know how it goes!
Oooh! I really hope that you found it interesting and inspiring. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you about the first bit of pain though - having to do two flash shots before you were taught anything!
