25th July 2014

So much for the weather forecasts. I am not sure how they can be so wrong. Today was supposed to be sunny and then light showers later in the afternoon. From midday there was thunder and torrential rain.

I have been busy working on images from Chicago for stock use and I have also been putting together a panel of fifteen mounted prints for a work shop tomorrow. This is in preparation for my submission for an Associateship from the Royal Photographic Society, hopefully sometime next year. Therefore with limited time here this is a bit of a grab shot of our large basil bush outside the back door with rain droplets from the earlier storm.
Lovely greens and water drops. Here's wishing you success with your submission to the Royal Photographic Society!

Love the freshness of this shot, and the smell of the basil must be wonderful. All the best for your submission to the RPS Emma!
