9th September 2014

Up until 9pm my photo of the day was going to be of my new Press Pass which I received today all the way from Canada. I am very pleased with it and it took a lot of work to earn it.

However, today was also the last night of a ‘Super Moon’ or Perigree moon. It did not appear above the clouds until just after 10pm. I decided to have a go with Colin’s new camera - a Panasonic Lumix FZ200 - mainly because I could not be bothered getting the 70-200mm out along with the tripod. I am very impressed with the camera, this was hand held using a x600 optical zoom. This is the last time for over a year that we will see this as the next one is not due until the 28th of September 2015.
Is it waterproof!!
