17th December 2014

This evening we travelled up to London to see the Christmas lights. I was going to post some images from Covent Garden but on our way through Trafalgar Square we came upon a silent candlelight vigil being held for the 141 school children and teachers murdered a couple of days ago by the Pakistani Taliban in Pakistan. It was very sad and clearly a number of people lighting candles were upset by the experience. I posted some images to Demotix - http://www.demotix.com/news/6501954/candlelight-vigil-trafalgar-square-141-murdered-pakistanis#media-6501935
Very touching.

That was so sad and so horrible. Our species is capable of such goodness and such vileness. A very moving capture here.
