My reliable Grape Hyacinths or Muscari that Mum gave me over 15 years ago when I lived in my flat have come up again for another year. They are one of my favourite spring flowers.
I have finally finished packing for our trip to Venice tomorrow. I am actually quite nervous now, especially since I received the shoot schedule and I can see the size of the team - there's a 'fixer' and even a 'runner'. I am confident of what I need to do and am lucky enough to have visited before so I know some good angles. However, apparently I have to use supplied camera equipment and I am not sure I can get the effects I want when I am totally unfamiliar with the kit… oh dear. An upside is that we do get to go into the British Airways lounge at Gatwick which should be fun!
