Today we were trying out our rucksacks complete with ‘camelback’ water carriers which we will be using when we go to South America later in the year. I hope the weather is better there than it was today.
We visited the Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park which is well known for its amazing azalea and rhododendron displays in May. Although the flowers are just starting to go over, it was so lush (probably all the rain!) it made me feel like we were in a tropical jungle - at about 20 degrees lower than tropical temperatures.
(Best viewed on black for the full tropical effect!).
