After all the excitement of yesterdays London trip, I was back to the landscape gardening shots. This time I was in Molesey for one of the few sunny days this month to photograph the use of a specific type of grout for garden stone masonry. It was very cold as I was stood for a number of hours photographing the process again and again to get a good selection of shots which will be used for an instruction manual. Although it was lovely to see the sun, in a way it actually made the job more difficult as I had to try and compensate for dark shadows and avoid my own shadow getting in shot!
After a few hours I left and then returned briefly in the afternoon to shoot the finished job. Afterwards another 3-hour shop in Kingston and a free coffee to warm up in Waitrose.
