14th January 2016

Another day, another hospital. This time we were back in South Kensington and unfortunately the consultant could not give us any particular helpful advice at this stage so Colin has yet another MRI booked for 6-months time to check on progress.

Despite a 2.5 hour wait in a packed waiting room, I still managed to get to my photo club meeting in the evening. The lecture was about landscapes and filters and during the break I noticed the projector projecting a cows head on one of our members!!
I do hope something can be done to help Colin. I have joined a camera club, and last night we saw a presentation by three members who went to northern Alaska last October to shoot polar bears (with cameras, not guns, of course). It was fascinating and also touching and worrying--part of the emphasis was on the way global warming is affecting the bears, their ability to find food and to reproduce. They are now officially on the endangered list. Sometimes I feel so ashamed of my own species.
