Our purchase for our Australia trip continues. We really need strong head torches and our old Petzls at 35 lumens are just too weak. We also wanted a red light as I can check my camera settings at night and also we can go wildlife spotting and not disturb the animals.
This bad boy can produce beam of 350 lumens… 10 times as much as before! It has a built in red light as well. It seemed to take a long time to get dark this evening before we could test it out. It also has a rechargeable battery and can take AAA batteries as well if we are unable to charge the main battery.
