Today we headed by train down to Eastbourne for their annual air show. I read about it a couple of months ago and as I love the Red Arrows we booked out rail tickets. The weather was in doubt for days before but on the day it was sunny and we even caught the sun. We found prime positions on the beach with our backs against the sea wall.
Sadly the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight was not flying as the planes had engine faults but The Blades, the Breitling Wing-walkers and the F-16's were amazing. However, the Red Arrows were stunning. My Canon DO 70-300mm got a good test on the day.
