30th October 2017

A leisurely day today around Manly today.  That's the weather was so sunny we headed to Shelly Beach with our snorkels and masks.  We were determined to have a last snorkel before we head back to the UK.  Although quite a bit colder than Port Douglas we soon got in and saw quite a range of fish including a large ugly catfish but sadly no Weedy Sea dragons.  It was funny to see the bush turkeys wandering around the beach and a pair of kookaburras flying above.  The wind seem to whip up quite quickly so we headed back.

Later in the day I headed for a girly pedicure at the local spa, A very reasonable price of $30 about £17.  I also managed to sort out the hob which was quite complicated as the numbers have worn off and Colin was able to cook a good steak!
