3rd December 2017

Today it is a ‘Super Moon’ but unfortunately the thick cloud hid anything of interest. I sat in the Bushy Park car park for over an hour - I was also working on my laptop for various reasons but no luck. In the end I decided to cheer myself up and walked across the park in the dark to Hampton Court ice rink. I really must remember my head torch next time as I nearly pumped into two surprised stags - not sure who was more surprised, me or them.

The ice rink has had some great weather with cold and dry days for its first week of opening and it looked lovely with the Palace floodlit behind. The rink was just being cleared ready for the next session when I arrived so I treated myself to a hot chocolate minus cream and marshmallows. Mmmm.
