Today our friends Richard and Ann came for dinner. Considering that we only have a narrow galley style kitchen, I think we put on a pretty good spread.
This is the table complete with starters of blinis with various toppings of sour cream, smoked salmon and Caviar, sour cream and prawn and pesto, sun-dried tomato topped with a shard of crispy jamon. Colin prepared the main course of Bouff bourginion, mustard mash and roast carrots and parsnips. My dessert was Scottish Cranacan made with fresh raspberries, cream, honey and whisky.
We had a nice evening although I think my dessert was a little heavy. At least Richard didn’t throw up on the carpet this time!
