30th December 2018

We wandered around Teddington today so Mum got a chance to see the charity shops.

Later in the afternoon we headed over the RHS Wisley which although only 40 minutes away, I have never visited. I had booked tickets for all of us to see the Christmas light display. We got there a bit early and had to queue up to wait for entry at 5.00pm.

I had no idea what to expect. I had wanted to get tickets to Kew but not only were they very expensive, it had actually sold out by the time I knew Mum and Ian were able to come and stay. It was actually really good, especially in the hot house and the floating lights were very atmospheric. In the end we were there for a couple of hours and were ready to warm up in the car on the way back.

Pasta and tomato salad for dinner tonight as it was quick to knock up as we were all hungry!
