It was absolutely hammering down with rain this morning so after setting our alarms for 7.15am for the Bushy park Run, we wimped out, rolled over and went back to sleep. It turned out that a lot of people had also done that as instead of the usual 1,200 or so runners there were around just 600 hardy souls.
In the evening we had been invited almost six months earlier to our friends house for their annual Christmas invite. It was a ‘lap dinner’ and we consumed a lot of alcohol. It also started heavily raining on our way home. This shot was taken little after midnight but I am counting it as the 1st - I was hanging out of the bathroom window attempting to photograph the lighting that definitely was not forecast.
