My second day on duty at the Landmark. This morning I was on the front desk this time with my friend from photo club Diana. We chatted away the morning and had just over 20 visitors which is not too bad for a Monday morning. When I got home another letter had arrived from the hospital, this time giving me the follow up appointment for the results of next Tuesdays procedure. Tuesday 30th of April will be ‘D Day’ and I will know then what the future holds for me, if I have to have treatment and whether we need to cancel our long planned trip to Croatia.
In the afternoon I started the first of my three card counts. I did not do a count last month as Februarys count was late in the month so I am hoping there will be a lot overstocking to be done. Teddington started not too badly with 55 cards needed. Richmond and Twickenham to be counted later in the week. I then spent nearly an hour catching up with my friend Julia who I have not seen for a few weeks.
