I start my special diet on Friday but as there is the Easter bank holiday coming up, I needed to go and collect my meds that I need to take next Monday afternoon. Timing is not great as I am supposed to be taking down my exhibition at the Landmark but Colin is stepping ‘up to the plate’ and is doing it for me as I will not be able to leave the house. I think I may have to make him a member as well!
We have planned to take the train to the hospital next Tuesday as parking is so bad that we do not want to be stressed looking for a place before I have to have my ‘procedure’… sounds better than saying ‘colonoscopy’! Taxi on the way back (hope the driver is not disturbed by any medical after effects… I’ll say no more).
In the afternoon we drove to East Sheen as Colin had an opticians appointment which was also a good opportunity for him to get his ‘new eyes’ checked by Nilesh. He is doing well although his left eye is not quite as good as his right but still a vast improvement from a couple of months ago before his operations. Then back via Richmond and Twickenham for the two other card counts. Both shops have sold well and need about 140 cards each although Richmonds stock will be partially drawn from the transferred cards from Kingston. This is a beautiful Magnolia tree near the car park in Richmond.
