I took today’s montage rather earlier than expected at 1.12am as there was an incredible amount of lightning, some rumbles of thunder and the shortest shower ever. I used the LightningCam2 app on my phone and I’m pleased with these photos from the 400 taken as I hung out of the window.
Later the same day I started to prepare my cards ready for the massive session making up nearly 1,500 cards. First I delayed the actual start by getting another gel pedicure as I was so impressed by the last one. Today is one of the hottest days of the year and apparently it will only get hotter tomorrow. There strange thing is that it is actually hotter here than in Murcia where Colin is!
200 cards into my schedule and I stopped for paperwork, to post two parcels and I bought a pair of brown sandals I had seen earlier in the week from Johnson’s shoe shop as my Merrills are just a bit too utility!
Back to the cards and I made up well over 350 and after sorting all my stock, the job doesn’t look as bad as I had been thinking. Later in the evening I watered the garden to ensure nothing goes too droopy - I have my list from Colin! It was a challenge working out the somewhat complicated hose attachment but after watering myself I managed to work it out!
