The shower survived three showers and door openings and closings!
This mornings task was to see a solicitor who is hopefully going to write Mums will and sort out various future trusts etc. Never fun doing these sort of things and I was all set to help and take notes but as I am a beneficiary I was not allowed in! I was let in at the trust fund bit which was useful as is pretty complicated. After nearly 2 hours we finally left and now await the Documentation put together.
We felt quite tired and headed back for coffee and then lunch in the afternoon I decided to lighten the day and we headed over to Richmond Park. I managed to park in the car park close to the Isabella Plantation and it was a beautiful day - not as crowded as I had expected. We wandered through the shaded glades and spotted so many butterflies and various wildlife which culminated in the best site of all - a nearly 2 foot long grass snake slithering through the grass under the trees! This was a first for Ian and indeed for me in Richmond Park and I managed a few ‘grab shots’ on my phone. After this excitement we headed in the car towards Pembroke Lodge taking the pretty route around the circumference of the park for an afternoon cream tea. As ever it was very good value at only £11 for all three of us with copious amounts of clotted cream and jam!
