I sorted the 300+ cards I need to make up and started the big job today with the view of delivering towards the end of the week. I briefly popped out to catch up with Julia but only after an amazing cloudburst and one massive clap of thunder which started with this ominous cloud over Teddington.
We had waited around earlier in the day as we had booked a roofer to come and check the guttering but as ever in this area, despite booking and chatting to his wife on the phone a few days ago, it was a ‘no show’. It must be nice to have so much money you don’t need to be courteous to prospective clients!
