Trying to keep my chin up as they say. I popped in for some moral support and a chat with my friend in the local card shop - apparently I’m not mad! We had to comfort a lady who was buying a card for her granddaughter - I’m not sure why she was so upset as they lived locally and all seemed well but she was in floods of tears and I ended up hugging her and trying to cheer her up!
Afterwards I queued for nearly 45 minutes to post a parcel to Toronto (vegan chocolate, a Christmas decoration and a little catnip toy!) and to buy stamps for this year’s Christmas cards. I’m going to have to do this all over again with my sisters birthday presents in a few days when I’ve wrapped them!
