6th August 2020

Day 134 of semi lock down.

Not too much going on today and after I sent the emails I had prepared yesterday very few replies!

The weather is hotting up and it is forecast to be 35 degrees tomorrow which is why I have arranged to deliver my print at 10.30 before the real heat of the day.

I continued planning what now feels like ‘a trip never to happen’ to Spain and have added another week which will not be covered by our Gumtree and Quidco sales but I think we will be more than happy to fund it our selves just to get away! I have all the accommodation lined up and we just have a few more decisions on stop points to discuss.

This afternoon I noticed a conversation on the NextDoor app concerning water bills. For some time I have thought we are probably paying to much and a quick survey of other people in the Crescent confirms that and we seem to be paying about £100-150 more than we should. I need to investigate.

This evening was the Zoom session of this months summer photo club meeting. I have to say it was probably the worse one so far despite being by two members. I caught up with this project and a lot of online research during the evening. At least I got to see my friends are all well.
