The weather was unbelievably hot today and with doing very little we are melting on our feet. I had to post the tuner off at the Post Office - luckily there was no queue so I could go straight in and stand under the air con unit. Afterwards I popped to the library to pick up some books I had reserved via click and collect - it is very efficient now.
The humidity continued to rise and it finally erupted into a massive storm which started with heavy rain and then developed into strange circular hail. The sudden storms were so serves that large areas of the Borough were subject to flash floods and a train in Scotland derailed when it hit a landslip on the line - it looks like at least three people have been killed which is awful.
The storm was severe but short lived and so I was able to drive out to Fulwell and deliver the last of the Teddington montages that I have here - the other two are framed and at the Landmark as part of their three weekend Art Salons.
