It was sooo hot today but also very stormy. We awoke to heavy rain which is good for the garden (and Fulwell golf course having had the walk around on Tuesday) - this is rain!
Colin is planning another BBQ this weekend so he needs to stock up on briquettes. We had to drive over to Squires in Shepperton. An interesting route with numerous road closures and intermittent heavy downpours with lightning. I trialled my new face mask and it worked very well.
Later in the afternoon we listened as thunder rumbled around for most of the rest of the day. To take account of the +30 degree heat and storms I sent a number of emails asking my card outlets what they would like to order in the way of Christmas cards for delivery later this year!
