Day 5 of lock down 2 (day 228 since the start of the 1st lock down)
Today I sent a relatively large order of cards received via my Etsy shop and later in the afternoon Colin and I headed down Watts lane to see mechanics Mick and John.
Sadly they are retiring this week after 36 years working at Apollo Garage. Colin asked questions and I took notes and took a couple more photos. We are putting together an article for the TW1 magazine as the Editor - Christiane - is away in Sweden with her daughter and granddaughter at the moment. It will be really sad to see the two of them go as they have been there the entire time I have lived in Teddington.
In the afternoon I put together some images for instagram as Orleans House has putting together a Christmas campaign for those if us that had hoped to be at the Christmas Shopping weekend a few weeks but which for obvious reasons has been cancelled.
