14th March 2022

1 year, 340 since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020

I had a full on schedule planned for today which went well although I had not factored in the rain in the afternoon which was not forecast even when I was standing out in it!!

First it was over to the golf club to pay the deposit for my photo club dinner in July and to meet the new (third in 4 years) House Manager. He comes from a fine dining background and was talking about charging extra for taking drinks orders… I think he’ll take a while to get used to his new surroundings and I hope his pricing does not go the same way.

I continued on to Twickenham by his to get the final shot for the Twickenham montage of the station name as the central image and the back on the bus again into Richmond. I delivered the Richmond Waterstones cards and yet again I’m getting low on a couple of designs even though I counted just last week. Then I walked up to the A316 and crossed over for the afternoon shots around Kew. It was getting greyer and greyer but I managed to get the shots I wanted although I’ll need to do quite a bit of post editing to brighten them up. I also bumped into my friend Paul from photo club who lives in Kew and had a chance to catch up on news. Better weather forecast for tomorrow.
Very nice looking building
