Happy Birthday Chris - 39 today. We are getting together for his birthday meal at the weekend!
It was a beautiful day today which was just as well as I wanted to get the morning shots of Kew Gardens to finish off my montage images for the calendar. I set off first thing and Colin followed an hour or so later. I managed Kew bridge, buildings around Kew Green including a choice of not one but three blue plaques before getting into the Gardens for free with my new Boundless card which worked perfectly.
It was lovely in the gardens, so warm and all the daffodils and spring flowers were out. I got a perfect shot of the Palace, the pagoda and the gates before meeting Colin for a coffee and flapjack. We explored a bit but then caught the bus all the way back to Kingston. I spotted the Maids of Honour tea place and got an extra shot of their vintage van which could well make the final cut for the calendar.
Once in Kingston we got £50 each of Norwegian Kroner and used our free vouchers for a tea and scone as we didn’t want to waste it as it expires when we are away!!
