For some time I have had a range of odd symptoms and I am a little concerned in case they are heart related. I waited for a while but finally decided to see if I could get a doctors appointment today. It was the usual fun of phoning at 8.30 for an appointment but I was already showered and dressed and so able to set off for a 9.00am appointment with Dr Verma who I have not met before. He was very helpful and referred me for an ECG and blood tests. The reception managed to fit me in on the same day so I was back at the surgery at 1.00pm with a very nice nurse. The ECG looked normal although it is only a snapshot at that particular time. The doctor has asked me to take blood pressure readings for the next two weeks which I will start this evening.
The medical theme of the day continued as in the afternoon Colin had an appointment at Kingston hospital for an electrical test to see how bad his carpel tunnel syndrome is. We took the train as parking is a nightmare and very expensive and arrived early. Surprisingly we were able to go in early and the test did not take long although they did reveal just how bad it is for Colin. Next steps is a referral to a Consultant so we will wait for that.
We were back only just past the time we were scheduled to begin the hospital so II had time to count cards in Teddington Waterlines (more needed)
