I had to turn around a quick quote for three hundred local Christmas cards for a company in Twickenham this morning. I never know why people leave it to the last moment but Managed to get it out (and costed by my printer) in just a few hours.
In the afternoon we met my friends Emmeline and Paul at the Fallow Deer cafe for coffee and cake. We had hope to be walking in Kew Gardens but as the weather forecast was so bad resettled on Teddington which also gave me a chance to say hello to their lovely dog Stanley. We discussed the Christmas social and they are helping by running the bar.
We enjoyed a Thai meal from M&S in the evening (a treat as it is Colin’s birthday eve) and I crept back downstairs after we had gone to bed to blow up nine balloons and put up lots of birthday bunting in the dining room. Fingers crossed it stays up overnight.
