Catching up with work today before we headed out early to meet our friends Robert and Sue in Twickenham. This evening was cancelled a number of times as we tried to avoid rugby days. Somehow they had managed to get a table in the pub so we could catch up on news before heading to Panas - a Nepalese restaurant we had not tried before. Despite there only being a few groups of people dining (their main money will come with the ‘rugger-buggers’ tomorrow), both the service and food were excellent. We will definitely be back - the food was authentic (at least I thin it is as we’ve never been to Nepal), with interesting amuse bouche in-between courses and complimentary liquors at the end. The bill was a pleasant surprise and if we’d stuck to water we could have shaved a third off!
All in all a lovely evening with good friends and great food.
