Happy birthday to my sister Hester who seems to like the Belgium chocolates, book and bag I sent her.
I continued my lock down skill of hair cutting for Colin in the afternoon. I have come a long way since the first dodgy cut in the back garden during the first lock down in 2020 when I accidentally cut a large bald patch above his right ear! I have halved my time and am much more confident with the clippers (and no bald patch!). It was an indoors cut unlike the first one in 2020 in the garden as it was another day of torrential downpours!
I also finally booked the second stage of our trip to Budapest and Vienna - I had been a bit unsure about the apartment but it is well located and looks good so it is now booked and we are officially going to Hungary and Austria in September this year.
