The final thing on my ‘must see’ list in Burma was the Inle Lake leg rowers. These fishermen paddle their dugout boats into the lake using one oar powered by their leg! They then fish either by using small nets or dropping bamboo ‘cages’ and spearing the fish within the cages.

First thing in the morning the light was perfect - white light and mist which obscured the horizon and removed all sense of perspective - I thought I was looking at floating hyacinths only to discover it was actually fisherman in the distance!
This shot is BEAUTIFUL!!! Super composition and a great high-key shot.

What a wonderful shot, Emma. I wonder what it would look like with most of the sky cropped out just leaving the fishermen, their boats and those gorgeous, silky reflections?
