This was a difficult decision. I think of my 365 Project as a visual diary with occasional attempts at something a bit more creative. With the diary part in mind, I thought I should mark the funeral of Margaret Thatcher. This is no statement on my politics but having listened to this event all day whilst working it naturally became part of my day.
What to do? I think the handbag is symbolic of Margaret Thatcher and I happen to have a rather nice Mondial one which rarely gets an outing now that I work from home. So, stuffed with hats and scarves and using a roll of lining paper as a background it became todays still life. (Best viewed large as the burning out has lost the right side of the image!)
@nicolaeastwood thank you - this is probably a daft question (very likely actually) but where can I find the 'word of the day'? I quite often feel desperate for inspiration and that could definitely help on occasion!
Gorgeous handbag - great shot with lovely lighting!! Very fitting for today!! Try the topic of the day for April - it really gives you a challenge some days trying to find something to fit the word. I think it helps when you are struggling for inspiration.
