In Teddington we are lucky to have one of the Thames RNLI lifeboat stations.

Teddington Lock is one of the busiest stations in the country as there are many incidents on the river, including, sadly many 'jumpers' and accidents from boats 'driven' by inexperienced people.

Here are the crew returning to base in one of their two 'D Class' boats - this one is D-743 and formally named 'Olwen and Tom' after a legacy gift given by Gladys Olwen Martin and Thomas Frederick Shelton.
Great colour, and lovely water patterns--how nice that they're all smiling for you!
