Yesterday while photographing an 1871 church, I met a woman whose family had lived nearby. She took me to see the old Acadian house where her grandparents had lived, now being restored by her niece. Interesting old house and family stories.
How exciting to see it being restored and breathing new life into it! This one reminds me of a slave house I saw while touring a plantation in Louisiana several years ago!
