Ivy League Shadows

Shot on Chapel Street at Yale this afternoon. We were across the street at the Yale Center for British Art where we saw a show called "Making History: Antiquaries in Britain." Among the items on display was a huge book that contained a list all of Henry VIII's possessions, compiled after his death. It contained over 17,000 entries from ships to jewelry. We also saw a letter written by Elizabeth I containing her wax seal. I was impressed with the age of some of the items in this exhibit -- true antiquities.
I miss Yale- loved visiting and taking photos. Thank you !

I love the way you have made the shadow the main subject with the building in 'supportive' role. Nature wins over man - wonderful !
