Just One Blossom

I shot this magnolia a couple of days ago in my neighbor's yard. The tree is huge and magnificent, and it gives me great pleasure to see it in bloom every year, however briefly.

So beautiful. I never get a great shot of my magnolia. I like how you selected just one bloom, with the blue sky behind it, it looks magnificent! I was just thinking the moment before I saw this - that even though it is not a good thing with how little rain we have had, my magnolia has lasted much longer this year!
