Something took a good bite out of this painted lady butterfly. It didn't seem to affect its ability to fly, though. One of their their larval food plants is the mallow that I posted a few days ago: http://365project.org/falcon11/365/2012-06-30
That's a major chunk! It's amazes me how it doesn't seem to really affect their flying. Like the mallow - didn't know that's what it was. Beautiful color.
