Alium Stars

This is a filler shot from a visit to the Madison Commuity Gardens last month. I loved the little star blossoms in this alium.

What a neat looking flower - love all the little blossoms. Viewed large they are really really pretty. Staged well against the black. How tall do they grow? Looks like a substantial stem.

Great light/details Allison! never seen white allium before. When we moved into our last house some purple allium started to grow. By the time it was in full bloom it was over 5 feet tall! I think we had the tallest allium in our neighbourhood.
