St. David's United - 1304 Concession 3, St. Eugène, ON

I had an appointment in Hawkesbury today so Hubby and I decided to leave a little early and drive the back roads to get there.
This lovely church is a welcome sight among the empty expanse of farmland that surrounds it.
Both Hubby and I knew that it was either a United or Methodist church because the plain exterior is such a stark contrast to the ornate Catholic churches that predominate in this area.
A local landmark, St. David’s United Church is a quaint brick church perched at the crossroads of County Road 14 and Concession 3. Led by builder Robert Wilson and local volunteers, St. David’s was built in 1900 as a Methodist church.
Beautiful shot of a great looking church

Lovely brick church. So often our country churches are white wooden sided buildings.
