Taken on the 27th, it was the last photo I was able to get of the crowded nest. I did not upload it on the proper date since I was not happy with it and wanted to get a better shot.
All my shots were quick ones - in and out with my settings pre-set - so as not to disturb Mom and babies too long so I often just took what I could get as this one is.
Unfortunately, the nest was empty the following day so this is my best.

It really is too bad. I think Hubby was just as frantic as Momma Robin was when this was going on but there really was not much we could do. Momma would have abandoned the nest if we tried to move it.
Nature can be fascinating, but so cruel at times. I’ve really enjoyed your series and it’s made their short life something so many of us were aware of.
