My oldest picked up her first dog today. Vader's mother is a Black Lab and Mastiff cross while his father is a Cane Corso.
Vader will be a big dog!
But right now he is just a nervous little puppy missing his mom.

Yes, it is a derivative of Darth Vader. It is so neat how names come about - they were just tossing names about and found that Vader suits him perfectly!

This was a tough shot - and Sarah's apartment was so dark that I had to set the ISO at 1600 as well. Thank goodness for Photoshop to fix the problems afterwards!
