My Get Pushed challenge this week was from Mary who suggested a shot from under a bridge or tower or man-made structure. Purely by chance I walked through the Market Square to go to the library in the week and noticed the water jets in the four steel ring centrepiece were working. I had hoped to catch someone walking through but no-one obliged so I thought I'd try again on the way back. The jets were turned off by then! So all I have to offer for live interest is a girl deep in conversation and a bemused looking pigeon.
I racked my brains over this challenge and did attempt to take some shots underneath the railway viaduct but try as I might, I could not, even with road markings and railings as leading lines, make any if these shots remotely interesting.
So as these four rings were nearly a Get Pushed recently but I decided they didn't make the cut, I'm hoping they qualify for this challenge. I didn't attempt a picture underneath as I didn't want to get my phone wet! Not quite the result I'd hoped for but bridges and towers of any height are in short supply around here ...
@mcsiegle Hello Mary, I think these rings are just begging to be a Get Pushed for you! I'm afraid they're not as dramatic as sitting underneath Deal Pier might have been, but they're def different!
Sometimes it's so hard to get a photo for a challenge that your satisfied with. I guess that is why they are called challenges. I've been right there with you.
I’m so glad you didn’t actually shoot from under the rings and ruin your phone. Thanks for giving the challenge a shot. The pigeon is a great addition to this image.
