Not too much time for photos over the last few days, since I've been at my mums to look after her following hospital treatment to help preserve her eyesight.
Her garden has a variety of shrubs (and an interesting selection of small wild flowers in her lawn!). I particularly like the large pink flowers on her peony bush. Many of them are past their best, but I liked the detail in this close-up - I hope that you do too!
The peony is such a gorgeous flower. beautiful take. ours are just about an inch to two inches of the ground so it'll take a while yet before they come into bloom. hope you mom is doing ok after her treatment.
Thank you Therese - these seem to have bloomed and begun to fade very quickly this year. Mum is much more cheerful, but she has more treatments to come.
Thank you Jacqui - mum is in good spirits after her treatment, so that will be a big help, and she is in a positive mood about the rest of the course of treatment too.
Thank you Vesna - mum is much happier after her treatment, and hopefully it will help. She has already lost most of her sight in one eye, but the injections she is having in the other eye should help her a lot.
A very beautiful capture and close up of all those wonderful colors red
Thank you Padlock, and mum is much better, although she has more treatments to come.
