Heart of a Peony Flower by fishers

Heart of a Peony Flower

Not too much time for photos over the last few days, since I've been at my mums to look after her following hospital treatment to help preserve her eyesight.

Her garden has a variety of shrubs (and an interesting selection of small wild flowers in her lawn!). I particularly like the large pink flowers on her peony bush. Many of them are past their best, but I liked the detail in this close-up - I hope that you do too!

Thank you Vesna - mum is much happier after her treatment, and hopefully it will help. She has already lost most of her sight in one eye, but the injections she is having in the other eye should help her a lot.
