Sundial, St. Peters School, York by fishers

Sundial, St. Peters School, York

This sundial is on the wall of the school's chapel. I walk past it regularly on my way into York but this was my first opportunity to take a photo of it without delivery vans trying to get in the picture.

The school is one of the oldest in the world and has had a number of locations in the city before settling in the Clifton area of York. Read more of its history at:

Lovely sundial, Katharine. I always learn so much from the Fisher Family posts. Just for the fun of it, I looked up York on Google Earth. Beautiful place.

Nice shot of this sundial. We have one at Denver University which I'll try to capture sometime. It is very high up on the theater building
